Reine Rooney is a US registered patent attorney and has been preparing and prosecuting patent applications for over twenty years. Her background in Mechanical Engineering has enabled her to help clients with technologies in the mechanical arts, including but not limited to, medical devices and design patents. She is capable of filing applications in the U.S. and foreign filing thought the PCT system. Reine has also conducted infringement investigations and drafted non-infringement opinions. Recently, Reine worked with United States Steel Corporation where she managed the company’s IP portfolio, which included steel compositions, methods of manufacturing steel and steel tube related applications. In addition to patent matters, Reine handles trademark clearance and prosecution. Reine can facilitate removal of infringing content across online marketplaces, Social Media platforms, mobile app stores and websites.
