Shruti Law PLLC® is a 100% woman owned law firm focusing on Intellectual Property (IP) law. The Firm is owned by Shruti Costales who is a licensed US patent attorney and has worked in private practice, in-house, and with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Shruti has 20+ years of deep legal experience in handling: patent application drafting and prosecution, patent counseling, patent litigation matters, IP transactions, complex commercial transactions including drafting and negotiating XaaS agreements and handling FED/SLED agreements, supply chain agreements, security requirements and data privacy agreements, product counseling, due diligence assessments, and mergers & acquisitions related assessments.
Her experience includes working in various technology areas including electrical and computer technologies, mechanical technologies, chemicals/materials technologies, and life sciences/healthcare technologies.
Shruti has years of experience working as in-house counsel at Fortune 100 companies. As a result, Shruti has a deep understanding of what types of legal support and legal services in-house legal departments need. Her clients at the Firm include Fortune 100 companies.
Shruti is also Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US & CIPM) certified through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), which uniquely positions her to advise on interdisciplinary legal issues involving Artificial Intelligence.
