Sabrina Contreras is a U.S. registered patent agent with a foundation in patent prosecution and a technical background spanning wireless communication systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. Sabrina is passionate about working closely with inventors and counsel to develop patent applications that capture both technical detail and broader business objectives.

Prior to joining Shruti Law PLLC®, Sabrina gained patent prosecution experience across both law firm and in-house settings. At a leading wireless technology company, she trained across the full patent life cycle, from invention disclosures to prosecution. In private practice, she reviewed patent applications and assisted in drafting responses to Office Actions across AI and software technologies. Sabrina continues to refine her drafting through advanced training focused on claim strategy and specification development.
